Hex Encounters

Hex Encounters is an introduction to hex and counter wargames designed to be the simplest possible game that can include all of the standard features of a hex and counter wargame. It takes 1 hour to play for 2-4 players.

While this game is designed to be simple, this is game was not designed as an introduction to wargaming and was designed to be facilitated by at least one person with some knowledge of hex and counter games. As such it will likely be easier to learn to play with a facilitator than by oneself though this need not dissuade you from it: the game is simple and if in doubt make up a realistic rule to follow when things are unclear.
